Yes, the vehicle will run once installed but
It
will not run well for long.  Eventually it will start to miss and lose power  along with the check engine light
coming on,  bad fuel milage, and in some cases cause electric damage f
rom
trying to activate the variable valve timing.
We are able to disable the variable valve cam shafts option in your oem computer/ecu/ecm/pcm so that your vehicle doesn't go through spark plugs, run bad, have power loss, or have check engine lights due to bank 1/2 over advancement after installing your phaser lockouts.   Kits that come with a programmer are only able to disable this function
and will only work on one vehicle.  They also run you far more than this tune does.  .   When we disable your VVT option in your oem ecu we adjust the fuel and spark tables to help with power lose from locking the phasers in full advance.

2. DISCONNECT YOUR BATTERY AND THEN CAREFULLY UNINSTALL YOUR VEHCLES ECU.
3. PACKAGE YOUR ECU IN A WELL PADED BOX
4. SEND IT TO:  JOHNSON CUSTOMS 1010 SOUTH CECELIA, SIOUX CITY, IOWA 51106
5. ONCE RECIEVED WE HAVE A TWO BUSINESS DAY TURN AROUND TIME.
6. WHEN  YOU RECEIVE IT BACK IN THE MAIL CAREFULLY REINSTALL IT AND YOUR READY TO GO.
