Khadas Tone Board Hi-Res Audio USB DAC Based in (Tone Board with Acrylic Case)

Description

This Khadas Tone Board is in the acrylic case, and I blacked it out with matte black vinyl wrap. On the inside there's a layer of thick copper tape covered with electrical tape to prevent anything touching it and for an electromagnetic shield against interference (like wireless phones, which aren't a problem with the shielded case). A black mouse pad is cut for the base to give it some grip and weight. The LED light is bright, but if you want it, the vinyl wrap covering the hole could just be poked with a pin to however wide you'd like to see the indicator light. Includes the stock white cable and the long length black one which is brand new (and matches it too). Assembled, tested and ready to go.
This was a really fun project (I've built PC's for many years so the case was a breeze) and sold the headphones these were paired to. The measure really high on reviews, but the sound is very detailed, with some authority added to bass and the treble around 10khz is lessened. This makes the perfect match for headphones like the Hifiman Sundara, also the Beyerdynamic DT880 600 ohm and the DT1990 were excellent with this. If you want fuller, defined bass or have a treble peak to control, these made headphones like the Hifiman HE-400i and Sundara just amazing and took the need to equalize away.
