This listing is for the elusive 1799/98 draped bust silver dollar, large eagle graded by ANACS in EF-40.  This fabulous dollar was certified in the very
infancy of certified coin grading. This example was graded on 11/22/85 by ANACS and is in a plastic and leather wallet size holder- with ANACS raised shield, extremely collectible and sought after.

In our professional numismatic opinion, early certified coins were graded very conservatively.  We believe coin to be closer to an almost uncirculated based on overall detail on obverse and reverse.  For accuracy sake, many of these early silver dollars had adjustment marks which were mint done. This one is no different, see reverse.
